Bra Sizing - What is it all about!

It can be really tricky to find the right bra size when there are so many labels who use their own bra sizing.

In general the sizes between AA and DD are fairly standard but once you go above these sizes it all changes.

Some manufacturers will use the sizes DD but then they will continue to E, F, G, H, I, J, etc. Others will use DDD to represent an E and some will even go on to use E, EE, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH, etc. This can make purchasing a large-cup bra difficult.

The manufacturers in Europe will stick to the standard AA, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, which will avoid the confusion of sizes DD, DDD, E.

To try and provide a standard scale, 85b.org has adopted a simple cup-size scale based on what is believed to be closest to a universal standard.

When in doubt, go into a store and get fitted and follow the advice, then it is all trial and error, from there.
